Here, I’m going to show you a DIY natural recipe for blush that is super affordable and delivers a gorgeous result.

Tools and materials:

  • Beetroot
  • Knife
  • Blender
  • Glycerine
  • Aloe vera gel
Cutting a beetroot

1. Cut a beetroot

First, take a beetroot and cut it in half.

Blending the beetroot

2. Blend the beetroot

Place the beetroot in the blender, add some water, and blend it to make a paste.

Straining mixture

3. Strain the mixture

Then strain the mixture using a cheesecloth or a strainer.

Heating the mixture

4. Heat the mixture

Heat up the mixture either in the microwave or by boiling it.

Adding other ingredients

5. Add other ingredients

To the mixture, add a few drops of glycerine and a squirt of aloe vera gel.

These two ingredients emulsify the beet juice and add moisturizing elements that will make it soft on your skin.

Transferring

6. Transfer to bottle

Use a dropper to transfer the mixture to a small bottle.

Applying

7. Apply

The mixture will look very dark, but you’re only going to use a drop. Use a dropper to drop it on your cheeks and then blend it in.

Here is the finished DIY beet juice blush. It is incredibly natural looking, and it was super easy to make.

You can also use the mixture on your lips as well!

If you have lighter skin, it could be that this will be too dark on you, but for my ladies with darker skin, this is definitely worth a try!
