What are diy shower steamers?Shower steamers are kind of like bath bombs but instead of putting them into a tub, the steamer is placed on the shower floor. The water activates the shower steamers which then fizzes and releases the essential oils. If you want to try bath bombs but you don’t have a tub, this is a great alternative!
Can i use different essential oil?Yes, you can pick your favorite essential oil. Personally, lavender essential oil is a popular choice for me because of its calming effect as well as its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
How to store and how long will it last?You can wrap these shower steamers in paper individually and store them in a container, this will help keep their fizzing properties and aroma. Store it in a dry place and it should last you for a few months, however, remember that storing them for months might affect their fizzing/smell, so it’s best to use them in a month.

- ½ cup baking soda
- ½ cup epsom salts
- 2 tbsp water
- 30 drops lemongrass essential oil
- Cylinder silicone mold
Combine all ingredients into a small bowl. Stir well.
Fill 9-12 cavities of the mold with the mixture.
Allow to set for about 48 hours to fully harden.
Add a steamer to the bottom of your shower.
