Do THIS Instead of Double Braids
If you struggle with braiding your hair or just want a similar look with a twist, this hair hack is for you.
Follow along with my step-by-step tutorial to learn how to make this double braid alternative.
Tools and materials:
- Clear hair elastics
1. Make 2 low ponytails
Start off by making 2 low, even ponytails. Secure each with a clear, hair elastic.
2. Turn them into topsy tails
Make an opening with your fingers above the elastic and pull the tail through it to make a topsy tail.
Repeat on the other side.
3. Repeat
Move a few inches below the first elastics and make 2 more topsy tails.
Do another row of topsy tails, maintaining a similar distance between the previous row.
If you have particularly long hair, continue to repeat the topsy tails until the remaining tail is too short for more.
