Hey guys! I’m going to show you a fun way to style double Dutch braids. This is a great hairstyle if you’re going for a boho chic kind of vibe.

Tools and materials:

  • Hair elastics
  • Bobby pins
Braiding hair

1. Double Dutch braids

Section your hair with a middle part. Begin a braid on one side by the corner of your forehead.

Add small sections of hair to the two outer strands with each stitch.

When you get to the back of your head, continue with a regular braid to the bottom. Repeat the process on the other side.

Make sure you’re creating the braids so that they are in the same position on opposite sides of your head.

You don’t want one side close to your ear and the other side all the way at the back of the head.

Aim for keeping the braid right in the middle of the side of the head you’re working on.

2. Wrap and pin

Wrap the braids around each other at the nape of the neck to create a braided bun. Insert bobby pins as you wrap the braids around to hold the bun in place.

You will probably need a lot of bobby pins. Use them generously to make sure the bun stays secure.

Now it’s finished. It’s that easy. How gorgeous is this?

I love this hairstyle because it’s so feminine. It’s also a great way to make Dutch braids look a bit more mature.
