How to Get the Perfect "knotted Bun"
Here's an easy step-by-step on how to get the knotted bun look. This hairstyle would pair well with a nice Christmas headband or holiday clips but not so much with a santa hat.

Start by putting the top half of your hair into a ponytail
Braid the ponytail tightly then go back and loosen it just a tad bit if needed
Swirl your braid around the starting point
TIP: put the bottom half of your hair in a clip so it doesn't accidentally get wrapped up with your braid
You can use bobby pins to keep the braid in your hair
On you've created your bun you can let the bottom half of the hair loose.
