How to Make Black Seed Oil For Hair (Plus a Bonus Hair Mask)

In this DIY, I’m going to show you how to make black seed oil as well as a black seed hair mask. Black seeds are also known as black caraway, black cumin, kalonji, and black onion seeds. They come from Nigella sativa, a small plant with pale purple, blue, or white flowers.
Benefits of black seed oil for hair
Black seeds have many natural benefits. They are one of the most effective remedies for stopping hair loss and growing thicker hair.
Black seeds also contain powerful antioxidants that strengthen the hair follicles and encourage growth. They help stop hair from falling out, regrow hair in thinning areas of the scalp, and treat bald spots.

Take two tablespoons of black seeds powder and combine in a jar with four tablespoons of coconut oil and two tablespoons of castor oil. Shake to combine.
Tip: You can use any other oil of your choice.

Let it infuse for 2-3 weeks in a sunny place.

Strain the oil using a fine mesh bag or cheesecloth.

I also recommend adding a few drops of essential oil like lavender, tea tree, or rosemary for extra benefits.
This DIY black seed oil can be kept for several months in a cool, dry place. If you live in an extremely hot climate then refrigerate your oil.
