Tools and materials:
- White vinegar
- Isopropyl alcohol
- Citrus bliss essential oil
- Airtight container
- Measuring cup
- Cotton balls
1. How to make the nail polish remover
Add the following ingredients to your airtight container:
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1/3 cup isopropyl alcohol
- 15 drops citrus bliss essential oil
Close the container and gently shake to combine.
This homemade nail polish remover is non-toxic and safe for multiple purposes.
The citrus bliss oil is made of a blend of wild orange, lemon, grapefruit, mandarin, bergamot, tangerine, clementine, and a hint of vanilla. It definitely smells a lot better than store-bought nail polish remover!

2. How to use your homemade nail polish remover

Hi Lauren, thank you for the recipe. FYI there are pump bottles specifically made for this application or similar I have a few and the Walmart brand of polish remover now comes in a pump bottle which is reusable. I also found some at the Dollar Tree but not sure if it was a one time deal or not.

I actually bought the dollar tree pump bottles your talking about. I was so excited I thought this is gonna be great for not only polish remover but face toner too. I make my own toner but anyway...my point 😞 they don't work. The pump sticks really bad an no matter what I tried or what was in the bottle, they just didn't work. Bummer (I know) better off paying a lil more and getting quality pump bottle from Amazon. Just a heads up so u don't waste ur money.
