I have seen some chakra necklaces lately and I thought it was such a nice concept, pretty and delicate. But I decided I can make my own and it couldn't have been more easy!

I started by picking 7 beads in the chakra colors out of my large assortment of loose beads!

Then I used one metal stand with a flat base for the initial bead and created a cook on the other side with round end tweezers and then cut the excess with wire cutters.

Here is a closer looks of how I did this before cutting off the excess.

I kept adding another metal stand (this time with a hook already at the end) to create a chain for each color, fastening the the hook I created to the hook on the next stand.

I think there are two ways to to wear this necklace. Either on a short metal chain or a long leather rope. I like it both ways depending on my outfit.

For the leather rope, I fastened the back with two knots to allow for adjusting the length.

Get me to my yoga class, I'm ready!
