How to Create a Boho Eco Pendant From Tagua Nut!
I love to support the environment with trying to use in my jewellery creations some eco friendly non edible palm nuts that might otherwise have no use . As you can see these gorgeous smooth colourful beads are created from the humble palm nut.
I search through some Tagua nut beads to find my ideal one for a pendant creation.
I find a gorgeous orange smooth chunky piece and is already pre drilled to hang the chain onto so easy peasy!
I use silver bail which is with two prongs that fit snuggly into the hole in they bead. I use round nosed pliers to squeeze the silver bail tightly. Creating a firm secure attached ring for the chain to thread though.
Then to feed the sterling silver snake chain into the silver loop in the bail. It should go through easily and create a nice balanced look and support the weight easily of the nut. Hey presto!
I love how smooth and tactile the Tagua nut pendant feels. So easy to create a unique look and of course you can make these out of various colours and then you have one to match every outfit and occasion!
