How to Create Unique-Look Nail Art Using the Cling Wrap Nail Trick
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you one of my favorite nail tricks. This nail hack is perfect for beginners who may not have a steady hand to do complicated designs.
Using cling wrap is an easy way to get unique, complex nails without any prior experience. If you’re looking for painting nails tips and tricks, keep reading. Let’s get started!
Tools and materials:
- Gel polish
- Cling wrap
- Top coat
- UV lamp
- Tweezers
1. Apply nail polish
Apply two different colored nail polishes in small dots all over your nail. Start by first applying one and then apply the second over the top the first.
Do this quickly so that they don't dry; you'll need them to be wet for the next step.
2. Tap your nails with cling wrap
Bunch up some cling wrap into a ball and use tweezers to lightly tap the nail with the cling wrap. This nail art hack is going to blend the two colors together in a really cool way.
Make sure to do this all over the nail. The cool thing about this trick is that you can use any color you want, and it’ll still look just as awesome. It will look like smoke or marble.
Here’s an example of me doing this nail polish hack with three colors instead of two.
3. Cure and apply top coat
When the nails look how you want them, cure them under a UV lamp and finish them off by applying a top coat. Cure a second time, and you’re done!
