How to Do Cute Pink & Red Valentine’s Nails With Heart Designs

It’s almost time for Valentine’s Day, a day of romance and heart-shaped candies, and most importantly, dressing up! Which means trying out fancy Valentine nails.
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to make cute, heart-themed pink and red Valentine’s nails, so if you want your nails to be just as cute as your outfit and just in time for the romantic holiday, keep reading!
Tools and materials:
- Gel polish (pink, red, and white)
- Thin brush
- Dotting pen
- Top coat
- Nail glue (optional)
1. Apply the base coat
Apply a pinkish-nude or a baby pink gel polish to your nails for your base coat.
2. Draw the red hearts
With a thin brush, use red gel polish to draw small hearts on your nails.
I like to draw them in different directions so they almost look like falling petals. Draw them as big or as small and as many or as little as you like.
3. Draw a white outline around the hearts
With white gel polish, draw a line around each of the hearts to create an outline. This will help make the hearts pop out against the base coat.
4. Add red nail crystals
Add small, red nail crystals around the hearts to add a bit of fun texture to your nails. You could use nail glue to attach them or just nail polish.
5. Apply the top coat
Finish off with a clear top coat, and then you’re done!
