Pink & Silver Makeup Tutorial: A Cute, Sparkly Look for the Holidays

Tools and materials:

• Foundation
• Highlighter
• Makeup brushes
• Translucent powder
• Eyeshadow
• Silver liquid liner
• Black liquid liner
• False eyelashes
• Mascara
• Bronzer
• Blush
• Lip pencil

1. Foundation

Start off by applying some foundation with a brush all over your face. Be sure to choose a shade that matches your natural skin tone.

2. Highlighter

The next step is to add some brightness to your face with some highlighter. Start by applying it under your eyes in a downward triangle shape. Then apply it to the center of your face starting with the center of your forehead, down your nose, and at either side of the bottom of your nose.

Proceed to add some to your cupid's bow, under your lower lip and chin. Once applied, blend all of the highlighter in with a makeup brush.

3. Translucent powder

The next step is to brush some translucent powder over your face. This will give your skin a natural-looking glow.

4. Eyebrows

Moving onto the eyebrows, take a fine brush and some dark brown eyeshadow (or whichever shade matches your eyebrow color) and apply it to your eyebrows. This will give your eyebrows a fuller and more defined appearance.

5. Eyeshadow

Next, take a neutral shade of eyeshadow and brush it all over your mobile lid and upper lid. This will act as your base.

Continue by going in with a dark brown color and applying it to your mobile lid.

Then apply a white shade below your brows to brighten that area.

Proceed to add a shimmery white over the brown on your mobile lids.

6. Silver liquid liner

Next, you’re going to take some silver liquid liner and apply it all over your mobile lids.

7. Black liquid liner

Now take your black liquid liner, draw a thin line at the bottom of your eyelids and then wing it out at the ends.

8. Eyeshadow

Take your brown eyeshadow again and gently smudge it in the outer part of your lower lashline. This will help to create a slightly smoky effect. 

Then take your white eyeshadow and apply it under the inner part of your lower lashline.

9. Eyelashes

Next, apply some false eyelashes and go over them with some mascara.

10. Bronzer

Add some color to your face with some bronzer. You want to apply this to your cheekbone, your jawline, and around your forehead. Then, with a smaller brush, dust some onto either side of your nose.

11. Blush

Next, add some blush to your cheeks.

12. Lips

To finish off, go in with a lip pencil over your lips. I’ve gone for a bright pink color for a bold and flirty look.

There we have it, the perfect pink and silver makeup look that is great for parties or any festive occasion. All of the elements in this look are gorgeous, from the shimmery silver eyeshadow to the black liner that frames my eyes, not forgetting that irresistible pink lip color.
