This is the cutest no-sew swimsuit cover-up. It’s perfect for a day at the beach. Or you can wear it as a dress.

Tools and materials:

  • Large piece of fabric
  • No-sew glue
  • Rope
  • Scissors
Cutting fabric

1. A large piece of fabric

Grab a sheet or large piece of fabric.

It will need to be big enough so that you can wrap it starting at one armpit, around the front, and back, and then one more time around the front of the body so it ends under the second armpit.

Cut the top two corners about 5 inches in.

Gluing

2. Glue it down

Using some no-sew glue, fold one corner about one inch down.

Apply the glue at the edge of the fabric so there is enough room to pull some rope through the fold. Do this on the other cut corner as well.

Adding string

3. String it up

Cut two pieces of rope at about two feet. Take one rope and attach a safety pin to one end.

Use the safety pin to help you slide the rope through. Tie the rope with a nice bow leaving enough space for your arm and shoulder to fit.

Repeat these steps with the second rope at the other corner.

Putting on cover-up

Slide your arm through one rope loop and wrap the fabric around your body.

Then slide your other arm through the second rope loop and you have an adorable cover-up.
