The Secret to Tying a D-ring Belt
Hi everyone. Today, I have an easy fashion hack to share with you.
I'm going to show you how to tie a D-ring belt so it doesn't look so tactical.
Let's get into it.
Tools and materials:
- Belt
These belts are great for summer because they're lightweight and totally breathable. But tying them can be a little awkward.
You put it on, fasten it, and then you have a lot of excess.
Here's a trick to get rid of that extra appendage and make it look like a styling detail.
1. Put on the belt
Put on the belt and fasten it like normal.
2. Tuck the tail under the belt to create a loop
Instead of letting it dangle or doing some awkward tuck to try to hide it, we're going to make it purposeful.
Take that dangly bit, and you're going to loop it up under the belt, which leaves a loop.
3. Pull the end through the created loop
Slide the extra end through the loop, and pull it nice and tight.

Now, instead of looking like you're trying to hide something, you have a purposeful styling detail.
