The Fashionable and Conservative Way to Wear Your Scarf as a Cover-up

Tools and materials:
- Large, rectangular silk scarf
- Hair elastic
Look 1: Accordion flower
1. Wrap your shoulders and pinch the front
Wrap the scarf around your shoulders. Hold the 2 front corners together, away from your body.
Grab both sides of the scarf at the collarbone and pinch.
2. Make an accordion fold and secure it
Fold the fabric like an accordion until your hands meet at the collarbone.
Hold the bunched fabric and wrap a hair tie around to secure it.
3. Create a flower
Stretch out the accordion to create a flower.
4. Tie the ends
Move the flower to your shoulder. Then tie the loose ends so the knot sits at your waist.

Look 2: Tasteful poncho
1. Tie 2 corners and put the knot on your neck
Tie 2 far corners of the scarf with a small tail after the knot.
Next, put your head through the resulting hole, with the knot sitting at your neck.
2. Scrunch up the front
Put your hands through, over the front of the scarf, and scrunch it upward with your fingers.
Bring the resulting, horizontal strip behind your neck.
3. Bring your arms through
Behind you, bring your arms through and let the scarf drape down your back.
4. Tie the front
Tie the front corners in a double knot.

Look 3: Glam hood
1. Place the scarf on your head
Hold the scarf behind you, horizontally. Then place the top, middle section on your head.
2. Tie the front corners, then twist
Tie the front corners in a double knot with a small tail.
Twist the scarf toward you to make an opening.
3. Put the knot at your neck
Put your head through the opening, placing the knot at your neck.

1. Fold the scarf in half
Fold the scarf in half, vertically.
2. Tie the corners
Take the corners on the short end and tie a tight knot with a small tail.
3. Put your arms through
Open the scarf so that the knot is in the center, resulting in 2 openings.
Next, put your arms through the openings, like sleeves.
4. Tie the loose ends in the front
Tie the loose ends in a tight knot, leaving about a 4” tail.
