Fun and Super Easy Ways to Wear a Vintage Scarf
Hi everyone! Today, I’m going to show you some easy ways to style a thrifted vintage scarf. Scarves are such a great way to make an outfit that little bit more interesting.
So, without further ado, let’s jump into these fabulous scarf-tying ideas.
Tools and materials:
- Scarf
- Ring
Okay, this outfit is fine, right? There’s nothing wrong with it. I’ve just got on plain black top and high-waisted, pretty cool patterned trousers.
But we could make this outfit a little bit cooler still with the addition of a fun vintage scarf.
1. Simple wrap style
Now I never do anything super fancy with my scarves. You can put it around your neck, wrap it back around and already the outfit is a whole lot more interesting.
2. Tie scarf style
As a second fun scarf-tying idea, we can take our vintage scarf, and fold it in half so it's gathered up.
Then, put the loop on one side, put the open ends on the other, and then pop the open ends through the loop.
And there you have a very simple tie look.
3. Ring tie style + fun variations
The third scarf-tying idea that I have is my absolute favorite way to tie a scarf.
Put the scarf around your neck and take any old ring. Line up those scarf ends and then pop the ends through the ring and pull it all up.
Then you can fluff it out a little bit and there you go!
That’s the third style complete. This is very, very simple, but it looks awesome!
As well as wearing this scarf style with the ends down your front, you can also push it over to the side.
Or, you could bring one end over the back and one end over the front.
Or, you could wear both sides at the back.
Then bring them back to the front!
Or, if you want to be really fun and a bit silly, tie the ends up on the top of your head!
