Fun and Easy Ways to Style a Scarf
Today, I’m going to be sharing a bunch of different ways to style a scarf with you - some of them are very simple, and some are more intricate.
If you love to wear scarves but are sometimes at a loss for how to wear them, hopefully, this will give you some ideas.
Infinity scarf
1. Place scarf around neck
Take an infinity scarf (one that is a circle without a start and end) and place it around your neck.
2. Twist bottom
Then, take the bottom, twist it, and place that around your neck.
Here is the finished look!
This is so simple and easy. You can either style it with the two layers apart.
Or with both of them together.
Different levels
1. Pull bottom part
If you don’t like it like that, or you want to try something different, pull on one part of the scarf to lengthen it and shorten the other part.
I love how the top part is tight around my neck, and the lower part scoops down.
Knot
1. Knot scarf
Place the infinity scarf around your neck, then go halfway down and tie a simple knot in it.
This is a cute way to wear it with a coat or a jacket.
Pull-through-knot
1. Place ends through fold
Take a large fashion scarf, fold it in half, and wrap it around your neck.
Then, take the two ends and place them through the folded part. Then tighten it and fluff it up how you like it.
This creates a nice bundle around your neck to keep you warm.
Double-pull-through
1. Place ends through fold
If you want to make it even fancier, pull it through like we did the first time.
2. Twist
Twist the folded side.
3. Pull through again
And then pull the end through again.
This is like the previous look but a little bit more fancy with the added twist.
Simple knot
1. Knot scarf
Place the scarf around your neck and then knot it halfway down.
This is the same as the infinity knot but with a regular scarf.
Triple knot
1. Tie knot
Place the scarf around your neck and tie a knot toward the top. Pull it tight towards your neck.
2. Tie second knot
Take the ends and tie another knot, leaving a space below the first knot.
3. Tie third knot
You can leave it like that with just two knots or tie another one.
This design is really fun to look at.
Scarf jacket
1. Tie ends of scarf
Take two of the short ends of the scarf and tie a double knot between them at the end. Then repeat this on the other side.
2. Put scarf on
Now, put your arms through the two knotted ends, take the back of the scarf, and pull it up over your shoulders.
3. Tie more knots
As there is still a bit of a gap between the top and the bottom, take the two pieces and tie a knot between them.
Then repeat this on the other side.
Here is the finished look. I love how we’ve transformed the scarf into a jacket with gorgeous droopy sleeves.
