How the active ingredients work to give you glowing skin

Bentonite clay: Helps repair the skin and generate a healthy, even tone. It’s made from minerals such as iron, sodium, magnesium and potassium formed from volcanic ash.

Adding water to the clay gives it a negative, electric charge which ultimately draws out toxins from the body, unclogs pores and shrinks them. The clay also helps to control the overproduction of oil on the skin, treating white and blackheads.

Finally, bentonite clay pulls hydrogen out from cells, allowing room for oxygen, which aids circulation and improves overall skin tone.

Activated black charcoal: Is present in many beauty products since it is excellent at removing dirt, oil and bacteria from the pores.

Activated black charcoal

Apple cider vinegar: A fantastic substance that is antimicrobial, antifungal and antibacterial! It kills all of those blemish-causing culprits on the skin.

It also contains alpha hydroxy acids which removes dead skin, making way for new, vibrant skin.

What’s more, apple cider vinegar helps balance the pH level of the skin which helps it from becoming too oily or too dry.

Apple cider vinegar

1. Measure the bentonite clay and black charcoal

Add 2 tablespoons of bentonite clay and 1 teaspoon of black charcoal to a bowl. (Mine came mixed in the same pouch).
