The Trouser Trend- A Casual Take on Trousers

Fall is definitely my favorite season to dress for. The layers and the colors make it easy to create great looking outfits. I love warm, earthy browns for the fall. I typically love browns for sweaters and tops but when I saw these brown pants they caught my eye.

When I came across these pleated chino pants I was not sure about the style. I have not really jumped on the trouser trend but have wanted to try. This pair isn’t a true trouser but more of a casual chino style so I thought I would give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on and loved the look, so I decided to style them a few ways.

The first look is super easy, throw on a tank or bodysuit, this one is so soft and has been my go to lately. It feels like second skin. I have also been loving mules for fall! I have a black and cream pair and I’m thinking about getting a tan pair to add to the fall rotation. Outfit linked here.

I love this tee, it’s one of my all time favorites and the tan color pairs perfect with the brown pants. Add a cute pair of shoes and off ya go! Outfit linked here.

For chillier days or when you are in the office or classroom throw on a mid length cardigan. I love this cream colored one from Target and it pairs perfectly with these pants. Outfit linked here.

For another casual look, wear a black button front cardigan. This look pairs perfectly with a pair of black shoes. Outfit linked here.

So what do you think? Is this pleated chino pant a style you would try? I am trying to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to pants. This style is a new one for me and I kind of love it and I hope you do too!
