7 Chic Combat Boots Outfit Ideas

1. Black and white

Here, I’ve gone for an almost all-black look, with a white t-shirt to break up what would otherwise be a monochrome outfit.

I’ve played around with different tones of black, opting for a pair of sheer black tights which add some variation.

This is a super trendy look and the combat boots add a touch of edginess. 

2. Black pants

In this look, I’m wearing a pair of black pants.

Instead of folding them up at the bottom, I let them fall down loosely to cover the top of the boots.

The pants have a slight flare in the inner leg, which as well as adding a really nice touch, reveals the boots underneath.

On the top, I’m wearing a cropped sweater and a long white blazer.

3. Belted

To spice up the previous look, you can belt the blazer at the waist with a skinny belt.

The black belt creates a high contrast against the white blazer and ties in nicely with the pants and the boots.

This look is very trendy and modern, and the cinched waist adds some elegance.

4. Mini dress

Here, I went with thick black tights to keep my legs warm during colder months, and I styled them with a peach-colored knit mini-dress. The dress has a turtleneck which will keep my neck toasty.

Over the top, I layered a black coat which falls to the same length as the dress. The coat comes with a built-in belt, so I have the option to keep the coat open like this or do the belt up.

5. Casual

In this next look, I wanted to create something that was really relaxed and casual.

I combined white jeans with a loose charcoal gray sweater. The combat boots complete the look, and the buckle detail on them adds some interest to this very straightforward outfit. 

6. Striped sweater

In this look, I’m wearing dark blue pencil pants with a stripey black and silver sweater and a black blazer over the top.

Although the look is quite dark, the silver stripes add a shimmery touch.

7. Floral dress

For the final look, I’m wearing a floral dress with a black blazer and the combat boots.

I like the mix of the romantic, feminine dress with the more tough and edgy boots; it’s great to combine fashion styles in this way.
