Curvy Girl Approved: Shorts Edition
Sun’s out, shorts on! Mother Nature is turning up the heat and we are reaching for our summer staples. If you’re a curvy gal like me, the search for the perfect pair of shorts involves lots of trial and error and, frankly, makes you want to swear them off altogether. So when I find a pair that works, I have to share them! Read on for my current favorite curvy girl-friendly denim shorts.
These shorts were designed with comfort in mind. The elastic, drawstring waist makes them different from most shorts, but they are denim and not linen. And, it’s the softest denim material I’ve ever felt. They have a lot of stretch and aren’t tight around the thighs. So comfy, they almost feel like pj pants.
If you want a pair of white shorts but don’t like the pull-on style, this pair is for you. These fit a little tighter in the leg, but still have lots of stretch and are not a bit uncomfortable. My favorite thing about this pair is the length, as they hit just above mid-thigh so it helps cut down on chafing. Even though these shorts are super budget-friendly, the button-fly and material make them appear way more high-end.
I’ve had these for a couple of years, and I am so thankful Target keeps bringing them back. It’s for good reason. The stretch of these shorts is on another level. I always grab for these when I know I’m going to be packing away the food or margs. And the distressing and wash make them a super cute choice, too.
I’ve heard so many people rave about this line of jeans, so I knew I had to try out the shorts. And they did not disappoint. These are definitely more of a casual look, with pretty heavy distressing and a light to medium wash. They are also affordable, stretchy and very soft. Just a good pair to have in your wardrobe when you need an easy, comfortable outfit.
