Styling Cycling Shorts: The Comfy Gal's Guide To Looking Cute

As the temperature outside decreases, so does my motivation to get fully dressed up... walking in heels on icy ground is never fun.

Here's the good news, we can be comfy AND cute.

Here are THREE ways to achieve it.

GO FOR COLOR!

The first thing I try to do when I know I'm going to be wearing more casual pieces is bring life into the outfit with bright colors.

Opting for pastels and spring-like colors can bring the warmth of summer into fall.

I keep each of the pieces solid (no prints or patterns) in order to keep the outfit from looking to over-the-top.

Go for all black...

The opposite of what we did in the previous outfit is to go for no color at all. This is if you want a more elegant look (even though your wearing athletic shorts).

Match black leggings with a black sweater and black boots, then accessorize with some gold jewelry and a cool jacket.

Go for glam.

This combination is so high-fashion, no one will question the comfortable cycling shorts you've got on.

It's also an outfit made up of pieces you most likely already have in your wardrobe.

Throw on a black blazer over a black top and belt it.

Add tights under your cycling shorts for more warmth and pair with some heeled boots.

Accessorize with your favorite pair of sunnies and a sassy attitude (kidding!) and you're good to go!

Have fun styling...

Love,
