Tools and materials:

  • Comics
  • Mod Podge
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors

1. Print comics

Start off by printing off some comics or snipping them out of magazines. I went with ‘Peanut’ comics.

Next, apply Mod Podge to an area of your denim jacket where you want to stick the comics.

Stick the comic on over the top and smooth it down.

Now trim off any excess comic so that it fits the space on your jacket exactly.

Applying Mod Podge

Apply more Mod Podge over the top to give the comic a glossy and smooth finish.

This project is totally customizable depending on what comics you use and where you place them on the jacket.

You can be creative and inject a lot of personality into the design. If you DIY one item this fall, let it be this!
