Hydrating the skin with mist, serum, and moisturizer

1. Begin with hydration

Apply a hydrating mist to your whole face before you do anything else! Then rub some argan oil serum between your hands and pat it all over your face.

This lightweight oil will give a radiant boost to your skin. And finally, apply a light coat of hydrating moisturizer to your face.

Applying foundation with a makeup sponge

2. Now the foundation

Dab foundation on your cheeks, chin, upper lip area, nose, and forehead—basically all over—and blend it in with a makeup sponge.

Applying concealer under eyes and to problem areas

3. Concealer and highlighting

Apply concealer under your eyes and any trouble spots like your forehead, chin, and corners of your nostrils. Blend it in with a makeup sponge.

Applying a darker concealer shade for contour

Now add a darker shade of defining concealer to your cheek and jaw bones.

Blending the contour with a fluffy makeup brush

Blend it out with a soft fluffy makeup brush.

Blending the edges with a makeup sponge

Pat the edges with your makeup sponge so everything looks seamless.

Applying a cream blush upwards to the temples

4. Date night blush

Use a soft fluffy brush to lightly apply cream blush to your cheeks. Extend the blush to your temple area.

Baking makeup with loose setting powder

Dust some loose setting powder all over your face. Use the same setting powder to bake the blush on your jawline.

Note: If you're unfamiliar, baking is when you apply a layer of powder to set makeup. We'll brush the excess off later.

Baking concealer under the eyes

Bake under your eyes as well.

Applying bronzer powder to the temples and forehead

5. Time for some color

Apply some bronze powder blush to your temple area and forehead.

Applying powder blush over the cream blush

Then apply a peachy blush shade over your cream blush on your cheeks. This will make your blush last the entire day.

Contouring the sides of the nose

Go back to the contouring bronze shade and apply it under your bottom lip and on the sides of your nose.

Applying the same bronze shade to the eyelids

Use that same contouring shade once more, all over your eyelids.

Filling in and defining brows with a pencil

6. Moving on to your brows

Outline and fill in your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil. Then use the spoolie end of the eyebrow pencil to smooth out your brows.

Applying a cream-based eyeliner to the waterline

7. Date night eye makeup

Start with a creamy eyeliner and generously apply it to your lower waterline and under your lower lashes.

Smudging the eyeliner along the lower lash line

Then smudge the eyeliner under your lash line with a pencil brush. Keep smudging it until you have a nice, smoky effect.

Applying the creamy eyeliner to the upper lash line with a brush

Apply the same eyeliner, with a small, angled brush, to your top lash line, extending it to a nice cat eye.

Using a fine-tipped eyeliner to extend the line to the inner corners

Use a fine-tipped eyeliner to extend the under-eye line to the inner corners of your eye, and to darken the outer wing.

Blending out the harsh edges

Blend out the harsh edges of your eyeliner with an angled brush and the darker contour shade.

Tightlining along the upper lash line

Now tightline your upper lash line with your cream eyeliner.

Adding a bronze-colored eyeshadow for warmth

Finally, add a warm bronze eyeshadow to the inner half of your eyelids to give them a subtle glow.

Applying mascara to curled eyelashes

8. Enhance lashes

Curl your upper eyelashes and apply mascara to your upper and lower eyelashes.

Cutting up small sections of false lashes

Cut small pieces of false eyelashes and apply them to the outer corners of your eyes to enhance the cat-eye look.

Lining lips with a lippencil

9. Don’t forget your lips

Line your lips with a lip pencil, creating whatever shape you like. I’m partial to a rounded, pouty lip.

Smudging the line with a finger

Use your fingertip to smudge out the liner into your lip.

Applying a lighter color to the center of the lips

Finally, apply a slightly lighter shade of lipstick to the center of your lips.

Finishing the date night look with highlighter

10. Finish with highlighting

Take the lightest highlighting shade from your palette and highlight all the high points of your face: cheekbones, nose, chin, and upper lip area.

Spraying the date night makeup with setting spray

11. Set your date-night makeup

Finish off the whole look with a mist of setting spray all over your face.
