In this tutorial, I'm excited to share a DIY avocado hair mask recipe that is a perfect hair mask for damaged hair and split ends.

If, like me, your hair has been feeling super dry and dull lately due to frequent styling, this avocado and coconut oil mask will give it the moisture and shine it needs.

Let's get started with the step-by-step tutorial!

Tools and materials:

  • Blender or small food processor
  • Mixing bowl (if not using a blender/food processor)
  • Spoon or spatula for mixing
  • Shower cap
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • Towel
  • Hair clips or hair ties
  • Hair dryer
  • Towel or old t-shirt
  • Shampoo and conditioner
Prepping ingredients

1. Prepare the hair mask

Cut the two avocados in half and scoop out the flesh into a blender or small food processor.

Add one tablespoon of coconut oil.

If you don't have a blender or food processor, you can also mix and mash the ingredients until you achieve a smooth consistency.

With the mask ready, apply it generously to clean, dry hair.
