Tools and materials:
- Primer
- Foundation
- Concealer
- Makeup sponge
- Bronzer
- Assorted brushes
- Scotch tape
- Various eyeshadows
- Mascara
- Blush
- Highlighter
- Lip liner
- Lipstick
1. Apply primer
Apply your favorite primer to your face.
2. Apply foundation
Then, add your favorite foundation. I like to add mine with a makeup sponge.
3. Apply concealer
Apply concealer to your undereye area, the tip of your nose, chin, and the middle of your forehead. Before blending this in, wet your makeup sponge.
Add powder to your under eyes.
4. Apply bronzer
Next, add bronzer to the hollows of your cheeks.
5. Apply eyeshadow
Eyeshadow really goes a long way when it comes to holiday makeup looks. Before applying anything, you can place tape at an angle, to create an easy wing shape.
The first color I'll be using is this pretty light orange shadow. Apply this all over your eyelid.
The second color I’ll be using is this rich, burgundy-like shadow. Apply it to the outer corners of the lid.
With a clean fluffy brush, blend the two colors together.
Add some gold shimmer to the middle eyelid by patting it on with your finger. Then, using the same fluffy brush, blend everything.
6. Define eyelashes
Curl your eyelashes and apply a few thick layers of your favorite mascara.
Next, add some false lashes for a bolder look.
Apply the same dark brown eyeshadow on your lower lash line. Use an angled brush for best results. Remove the tape.
7. Add blush
Add a light peach-colored blush to your cheeks.
8. Add more bronzer
Now, add a line of bronzer on the sides of your nose; do this in a straight line starting from the top, right underneath your brows.
Use your fingers to blend the line.
9. Add a highlighter
Using a fan brush, add a little highlighter to the top apples of your cheeks. Also, dab a little with your fingers right above your eyebrows.
10. Add lip liner and lipstick
Now, add your favorite lip liner and shade of lipstick. The ultimate holiday makeup looks when you go for the warm, sultry red hues.
11. Set the makeup
Add a spritz of makeup setting spray to ensure that your holiday makeup stays in place.
