Quick and Easy Eyeshadow Hack to Make Your Eyes Pop
One of my favorite eyeshadow hacks helps make your metallic and shimmery eyeshadows ten times more opaque and bright!
To do it, you only need a single product and I’ll show you exactly how right now. Let’s get into it.
Best mixing medium!
Tools and materials:
- Eyeshadow
- Mixing medium
1. Start with a mixing medium
Instead of applying your eyeshadow directly to your eye, try using a mixing medium as a base and apply the eyeshadow directly on top of that.
Mixing mediums are typically gels that help enhance the color and staying power of your makeup.
This one product will completely transform your makeup looks.
2. Applying gel
Apply the gel to the back of your head first and spread it out to a thin layer before tapping it onto your eye where you want the most pigment to be.
Sometimes this is just in the center or sometimes you want it to cover the entire eye. Be strategic about placement to get beautiful and unique eye makeup looks.
3. Add your eyeshadow
Here’s what my eyeshadow looks like before and after trying out this eyeshadow hack:

This is the same eyeshadow but the color difference is incredible! It’s so much more vibrant and pigmented.

I like the more subtle eye better. The other one is too pigmented and looks cheap (in my opinion only) Maybe use the technique with a less vibrant color.
What brand mixing medium did you use?
