Festival Hairstyle Perfect for Short Hair!
Are you going to a summer festival and aren’t sure what hairstyles you should go for?
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you a fun festival hairstyle for short hair.
Tools and materials:
- Hair clips
- Hair elastics
1. Part hair
Start by separating out your bangs from the rest of your hair and clip them out of the way.
Next, split your hair in half to make pigtails and clip up one side.
2. Tie hair at top
On the other side, take a section of hair at the top of your head and tie it with an elastic.
3. Tie second elastic
Then tie another elastic about an inch below the first one, this time incorporating more of your hair into the ponytail.
3. Tie third elastic
Finally, tie a third elastic, this time at the bottom of your head, incorporating all of your hair on that side.
4. Repeat
Repeat this process on the other side of your head - tying three elastics, each one incorporating more hair.
5. Pull out hair
Gently pull out the hair at each part of the hairstyle to make it more voluminous.
6. Braid bangs
The last step is to braid your bangs on either side and tie the ends with elastics.
Festival hairstyle perfect for short hair!
Here is the finished look! I love the cute little braids at the front and the multi-tiered symmetrical pigtails at the back.
