How To Use A T-Shirt Transfer To Decorate A Bag
I wanted to decorate a denim tote bag that I'd made, but all I had was some leftover iron on T-Shirt transfer sheets. So I decided to use them to add a design.
I started by choosing a picture I liked and thought would look good on the bag. I actually used one that I had on my blog.
I made sure to choose a photo that would fit well on the paper and on the bag.
Then, I printed the photo out on this transfer paper, according to the package directions. Then I cut it out, as directed, getting as close to the design edges as I could.
Next, I ironed it onto the bag with slow even pressure.
Once the transfer was on securely, I let it cool down. Then I gently pulled the top paper away to reveal the design.
When I was done, I had a lovely bag with a custom design on the front. From boring to beautiful in a few minutes.
