How to Make an Effective Homemade Face Mask for Big Pores
Who else suffers from large pores? There is not much you can do to actually make your pores smaller but you can make them appear smaller.
So today we are here to show you guys a homemade face mask for big pores. It's super-easy to make and use, so let's get started.
Tools and materials:
- Activated charcoal
- Bentonite clay
- Distilled water or rose water
- Glass bowl
- Plastic or wooden spoon
1. Add in activated charcoal
Add 1 teaspoon of activated charcoal to the glass bowl. Activated charcoal is an amazing ingredient that cleans and detoxifies your pores.
Activated charcoal often comes in tablets so just open up the tablet and pour in the powder.
2. Add in bentonite clay
Add 3 teaspoons of bentonite clay to a glass bowl with the activated charcoal. Bentonite clay also has amazing cleansing qualities for your pores.
Remember, you cannot use a metal spoon when mixing bentonite clay because the metal deactivates the benefits of the clay. Use either a wood or plastic spoon for this tutorial.
3. Add in the distilled water
Add 1 teaspoon of distilled water or rosewater to the powder mixture.
4. Mix to combine
Mix really well to incorporate the ingredients. If you feel like the mixture is too thick you can add a little water.
5. Apply the mask
Use your fingers to apply the mask to your problem pores areas. This is usually the T-zone, forehead, and chin.
Wait for the mask to dry for about 15 minutes before taking it off.
6. Wash it off
Once the mask has fully dried you can go ahead and wash it off.
Just make sure that the mask is actually fully dry. If it is still a little wet then it will clog your pores and leave gray streaks when you try to wash it off.
Your skin will be a little dry after so make sure to moisturize.
