How to Apply Cream Makeup to Mature Skin Over 50 for Beginners

In this tutorial, I'll show you how to apply cream makeup. It’s a fantastic consistency that runs smoothly on your face, and it’s incredibly amazing for over 50s.
I’m going to be using a SEINT cream color palette with contour colors, highlighters, and color correctors. However, you can use any cream makeup products of your choice.
Tools and materials:
- Cream color palette makeup
- Assorted brushes
- Eyeshadows
1. Cover your spots
So, I'm starting to cover the sun and age spots around my face with a contouring color. It’s a walnut color and works wonders! Also, don’t forget the under eyes.
2. Start contouring
Now, pick up your contouring shade and apply it underneath your cheekbones, forehead, underneath your jaw, and underneath your chin.
3. Apply the highlighter
Go in between the contoured areas and lightly pat some highlighter in between. Don’t overdo it- Since this is cream, you don't need a lot. Lightly pat your brush on your face, so it warms up on your skin and sits like a natural layer on your face.
4. Add a brightening highlighter
This is not really a concealer, it just gives a brightening effect. With a smaller brush, simply apply it to the corners of your eyes, the sides of your nose, up along your cheekbone, the center of your forehead, and under your eyes.
With your stippling brush, lightly bounce the brush on your face to blend in everything.
5. Add lip and cheek colors
So, now it’s time to add some color to your face! There’s a whole range of cream-based lip and cheek colors to choose. Add your favorite to your cheeks, and don’t forget to blend afterward.
Don’t forget to add some color to your eyes, too!
Then, moving onto the lip, use any cream color you like. Remember, cream makeup is multi-purpose and can be used just about anywhere on your face.
Add some powder eyeshadow on top of the cream-based one to give off that extra pop of color!
Add a little bit of contrast and definition by applying a darker eyeshadow on the outer corners of your eyes.
