How to Use Licorice Powder and Turmeric for Skin Pigmentation
Licorice powder is one of the best ways to smooth skin and fade pigmentation. I’ll show you how to use licorice powder and turmeric for skin pigmentation.
Disclaimer: When applied to the skin, turmeric can sometimes cause temporary staining, so please proceed with caution! You may wish to use slightly less turmeric than the recipe recommends.
Tools and materials:
- Licorice powder
- Turmeric powder
- Yogurt
- Bowl
1. Add licorice powder
Add 1 teaspoon of licorice powder to a bowl. Licorice powder is the main ingredient and for a reason.
It brightens the skin to help fade hyperpigmentation and it’s anti-inflammatory, so it has a soothing effect to ease redness and soothe irritated skin.
2. Add turmeric powder
Add ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder to the bowl. Turmeric powder is also anti-inflammatory and helps fade hyperpigmentation.
3. Add yogurt
Add 1 tablespoon of yogurt to the bowl.
4. Mix
Mix all of the ingredients.
How to use
Apply the licorice powder mixture to the face and the body. Rinse it off after 15 minutes.
