The Easiest and Trendiest Way to Tighten Oversized Jeans
Have you got a pair of jeans that you love, but they’re too big for you around the waist?
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you a clever and stylish way to tighten them to the size you want.
The best thing about this hack is that it doesn’t involve any sewing - all you need are two ribbons. Let me show you what you need to do!
Tools and materials:
- Oversized jeans
- Ribbons
1. Insert ribbon
Thread a ribbon through two of the belt loops.
2. Tie knot
Then, tie the ribbon to make a knot. How tight you make the knot should be how much you want to take the jeans in by on one side.
3. Tie bows
Then, tie two bows to make a cute ribbon bow.
4. Repeat
Repeat the process on the other side of your jeans.
The easiest and trendiest way to tighten oversized jeans
Here is the finished look! The bow ribbons on either side have tightened the jeans, so now they fit perfectly.
They also add a really nice design element as well, I love how the long ribbon tails hang down the jeans.
I went for two ribbons in the same color, but if you want to make it look a bit more quirky, you could opt for two ribbons in different colors.
