Easy Kylie Jenner Lip Makeup Tutorial
Want to look more like your favorite celebrity icon without the permanent commitment or hefty price tag? I’m going to show you how to get Kylie Jenner lips without the filler. Follow along to achieve the perfect, puffy-pouty lips.
Tools and materials:
- Lip liner in a natural tone
- 2 shades of lip stain
This is how my lips look naturally. Full disclosure–I have “pregnancy lips” so they are fuller than usual.
1. Line your lips
Start with the edges of your lips. Move toward the center, to the Cupid’s Bow, lining the edges first.
As you reach the middle, gradually take the pencil above the lip line. That being said, don’t go far from the natural line because that will give you an undesirable duck lip.
For the bottom, you can also draw slightly outside the line.
Also, fill the corner edges with liner:
Here, you can see the difference between the lined and natural sides of the lips:
It gives you that 20% filler look without actually getting injections. Repeat the same process on the other side of your lips.
2. Outer stain
Choose two different stain colors, one slightly darker than the other for a pouty look.
The middle section, from the Cupid’s Bow and down to the lower lip, will be the lighter shade, and the outside portions will be darker. So, apply the darker shade to the outside portions of the lips:
3. Inner stain
Next, apply a slightly lighter shade in the middle. Make sure it isn’t too contrasting with the darker shade.
Gently blend the lighter shade with the darker shade at the transition. Here’s the final look:
