- Blush
- Lip gloss
1. Apply blush to lips
Apply some powder blush that matches your lip color to your lips.
Blush acts like a setting powder here, locking your lipstick in place.
The texture of the blush can provide a slightly tacky surface for the lip gloss to grip onto.
2. Add lip gloss
Then add your favorite lip gloss over the top.
Another benefit to this is that lip gloss has a tendency to spread beyond the lip line over time, leading to feathering or smudging.
Applying blush around the lip area can act as a barrier, helping to prevent the lip gloss from spreading outside the lip boundaries.
