Moisturize your face overnight with 2 ingredients. I love this DIY night cream. It is especially great for the summer when dry skin can become an issue.

Tools and materials:

  • Small bowl
  • Aloe
  • Vaseline
Combining ingredients

1. Combine your ingredients

Grab a small bowl to combine your ingredients.

If you have an aloe plant, cut off a piece and squeeze a generous portion of the gel into your bowl. If you don’t have an aloe plant, you can use some bottled aloe.

Add in a small scoop of Vaseline. ¼ teaspoon should do the trick. Or you can just eyeball it.

Mixing

2. Mix and apply

Mix the ingredients well until they create a nice cream.

Applying DIY cream

Then use your fingers to apply the cream to your face. Massage it into the skin.

3. Make it a routine

You can store your new moisturizer in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Applying the cream chilled will actually give you the best results. Make this a nightly routine and you will be blown away by the results.

If you are lazy like me, Vaseline makes a line products with Aloe Vera already mixed in. They also have Vaseline and Shea Butter or you can buy straight up Vaseline. They also have a variety of chapsticks with different ingredients. They are wonderful. I’m sure the fresh ingredients suggested here are better, but if you don’t have or can’t find fresh Aloe Vera you can still get Vaseline with Aloe.

I am trying tonight for first time. I do like how it feels on my skin. Cold from the refrigerator will feel even better. Thank you for this diy moisturizer.
