In this tutorial, we’ll be showing you our natural deodorant recipe without baking soda.

This DIY all-natural deodorant doesn’t have any crazy parabens or chemicals, and it’s so easy to make. Let’s get into it!

Tools and materials:

  • Witch hazel
  • Essential oils
  • Roll-on applicator
  • Spray bottle
Mixing ingredients

1. Mix your ingredients

Add ½ cup of witch hazel and 10-15 drops of any essential oil together. We’ll be using lemongrass and lavender. You can use them separately or even mix them together. Play around with scents you like.

Lavender and tea tree essential oils are both great choices because they’re anti-bacterial.

Most of our body odors are caused by odor-producing bacteria that are secreted from sweat glands. Tea tree oil and lavender can help fight those bacteria.

Lemongrass is a natural deodorizer, and it’s commonly used as a detoxifier. It can also sterilize your pores, helping clear out any sweat or bacteria trapped in your armpits.

Bottling

2. Bottle

We’ll be making two versions: one with a spray bottle and another with a roll-on applicator.

Pour the mixture into whichever container you have using a funnel to avoid messes.

That’s it! It’s super easy to make, so you don’t have to buy your own deodorants anymore.

Witch hazel acts as a great deodorant alternative because it’s gentler to the skin, there aren’t any unnatural chemicals or toxins, and it helps combat odor!

Spray or roll it on and you’re ready to go.
