The beauty of this DIY is that you can customize it to match your natural color.


The orange-peachy tones are typically used to color correct melasma and dark spots while purple can be used to brighten dull looking skin.

Tools and materials:

  • Light shade of concealer
  • Orange lipstick
  • Red/orange eyeshadow
  • Purple eyeshadow
  • 2 small dishes
  • Orange wood sticks
  • 2 paint brushes
  • 2 cosmetic containers with lids
  • Beauty blender
  • Your regular foundation/base makeup
Before

1. Extract purple eyeshadow

Scrape some purple eyeshadow into a small dish using an orange wood stick.

2. Cut a piece of orange lipstick

Cut off a small piece of orange lipstick in another small dish.

3. Add concealer and mix

Add a small amount of concealer to each dish.

4. Transfer for storing

Transfer the color correctors to cosmetic containers with lids.

5. Apply color correctors

Dab the pink color corrector in dots under your eyes to cover dark circles.

Apply the purple mixture on any spots on your face that appear yellow or anywhere that you think you’d like to brighten.

6. Blend and apply base makeup

Use a beauty blender to blend in the color correction.
