Light, Fresh, No-Foundation Makeup Look That's Perfect For Summer
If you are looking for a quick and realistic summertime no foundation makeup look, then follow this tutorial. It will take you just 5 minutes to achieve this look, so if that sounds good to you, let’s get started!
Tools and materials:
- Mild exfoliant
- Vitamin C serum
- SPF moisturizer
- Sunscreen
- Color corrector
- Translucent finishing powder
- Neutral, peach, and highlighter blush
- Eyebrow pencil
- Lipstick
- Eyelash curler
- Mascara
1. Prep your skin
Apply mild, water-based exfoliant with a makeup pad. This will leave your skin feeling soft, supple, and hydrated.
Pat on some vitamin C serum to help protect your skin from sun damage that occurs throughout the day.
Add a light SPF moisturizer, especially in the summer.
Now layer on a high SPF (50 or higher) sunscreen on your face and neck.
2. Apply corrector
Tap on a peach-toned color corrector to any dark areas that need to be evened out. The peach tones also help to brighten your skin. If your corrector is a good match for your skin tone, then you won’t need to use concealer as well.
3. Apply powder
Set the corrector with a translucent finishing powder. Also, use the powder to mattify the center T-zone of your face.
4. Time for some color
Add a neutral powder blush to the hollows of your cheeks, your temples, and, if you have a double-chin like me, to your jawline.
Add a small amount of peachy blush to your cheeks with a large makeup brush.
Then use a small brush to contour the sides of your nose and the hollows of your eyes with a warmer more neutral blush.
Add a highlighter blush shade to the highest part of your cheekbones.
Also apply the highlighter shade to the center of your eyelids and the inner corners of your eyes.
5. Do your eyebrows
Fill in your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil. Then use the spoolie end of the pencil to brush out and soften your eyebrows.
6. Use the brow pencil as eyeliner and lip liner
Use your eyebrow pencil to draw a very thin line on the outer corners of your eyelids at the lash line.
Use the same eyebrow pencil to outline your lips!
Use your fingertip to smudge out and blend in the line.
7. Add lipstick, of course!
Apply brick-toned nude lipstick to your lips.
8. Finish with your lashes
Curl your eyelashes and apply mascara to your upper and lower lashes.

Here is the finished look. You can see that I used minimal products and completed the routine in about 5 minutes! This look feels light and fresh, and looks put together. It's perfect for hot summer months.
