Silk Scarf Hack for Turning a Scarf Into a Skirt
I am so excited to show you guys this amazing silk scarf hack for turning a scarf into a skirt.
Scarves can be so versatile and I have seen so many cool scarf hacks out there.
It’s such a great way to multi-purpose your clothes and have an impromptu new outfit to wear.
Tools and materials:
- Scarf
- Large hair tie
1. Fold and wrap
Fold your scarf lengthwise to your desired length. Then wrap it around your waist and hold the opposite corners together.
2. Fold back and forth
Fold the edges 4 inches inward and hold them together. Then zigzag back in the other direction and fold it 4 inches in that way.
Continue to fold back and forth in that manner until you reach the waist.
3. Tie
Grab a large black hair tie and gather all that folded fabric into it. Wrap the hair tie around securely.
Then tug and spread the tops of the fabric to arrange them to look like a flower. Slide the flower to the side of your waist and you’re done.
