Achieve an Easy Smokey Eye Makeup Look With Just 3 Eyeshadows
Hey everyone. I'm excited to show you how to achieve a beautiful sparkly smokey eye look using just three eyeshadows.
This look is perfect for any special occasion, and it's super easy to recreate.
Let's dive into this smokey eye tutorial for beginners!
Tools and materials:
- Concealer
- Translucent powder
- Eyeshadow palette
- Sticky tape as a stencil
- Blending brush
- Black eyeliner pencil
- Eyelash curler
- Mascara
- False eyelashes
- Brown lip pencil
- Nude lipstick
- Transparent lip gloss
- Makeup wipes
1. Prep your eyes
Start by priming your lids with concealer and setting it with translucent powder.
Use a piece of sticky tape as a stencil for extending your lower lash line (which you will do later.)
2. Choose your eyeshadows
For this tutorial, I am starting with three shades of eyeshadow: sapphire blue, sparkly diamond, and matte black.
3. Apply eyeshadows
Apply the eyeshadows with your fingertips.
First, swipe the black eyeshadow in the outer corner, creating a wing.
The tape will give you a precise edge.
Swipe the deep blue shade eight next to the black.
Finally, press the diamond shade eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eye and take it right across your eyelid over the other two colors you applied.
Blend the edges with a blending brush.
4. Clean up
Remove the tape and clean up any eyeshadow fallout using makeup wipes and concealer.
You can also do your eyeshadow before your base makeup for easier clean-up.
5. Define your eyes
Use a black eye pencil to tight line your lower inner eyelid.
Then, apply the sapphire blue eyeshadow along your lower lash line and smudge it below the waterline.
6. Lashes
Curl your lashes.
Apply mascara to your upper and lower lashes.
If you want extra lashes, apply a set of false eyelashes for a fluttery and wispy look.
Here is the completed smokey eye look.
7. Now for your lips
Outline your lips with a light brown lip pencil.
Fill in your lips with a lighter nude shade of lipstick and blend it in.
For a plump look, add clear gloss.
