Four Spring Wardrobe Ideas: How to Style Sneakers With Dresses

Outfit 1

I started off with a faux-leather dress that I normally wear with a pair of booties or over-the-knee boots. But I decided it would be fun to mix in a different element this time. 

I paired the dress with these classic black and white Adidas sneakers. Because the dress is very bold--with voluminous sleeves, a unique color, and made of all leather--I wanted to balance that out with a more subtle choice for footwear.  

This look is super classic and super chic, and I could see myself wearing this for New York Fashion Week. It’s so trendy but so comfortable. I absolutely love this combination. 

For the final touch, I chose a color block bag with chain details, which I think blends perfectly with the rest of my look. 

Outfit 2

For the next look, I wanted to go casual, so I started off with this black midi dress, which is a perfect base for almost any kind of look. 

Layers are an important part of any spring wardrobe, so I added a pink suede moto-style jacket on top of the dress. 

For the sneakers, I chose this adorable pair of leather color block sneakers. These sneakers are very girly, chic and the perfect choice to wear with a dress. 

This outfit is cool, casual, and comfortable, and I absolutely adore it.

Outfit 3

This shirt dress is one of my favorite pieces. It’s oversized yet fashionable and can be styled in so many different ways. 

I decided to add a white belt with a gold buckle to give my outfit some shape.

For footwear, I chose chunky white platform sneakers. 

These sneakers are also one of my favorite wardrobe items. I feel like I wear them all the time because they’re so comfortable, but they definitely add a nice little trendy touch to any outfit I pair them with.

Lastly, I just added a black shoulder bag to complete the look. Whether you’re hanging out with friends or running some errands, I think this is a great, casual weekend look.   

Outfit 4

I wanted to experiment with a little bit of color, which is somewhat out of my comfort zone, but if you’re a fan of bright, bold colors, this look is definitely for you. I chose this blue dress, which I think is perfect for spring because it’s so vibrant.

I chose these pink and blue color block sneakers to pair with the dress to keep in the theme of color and brightness for spring. 

For a final touch, I added the pink suede moto jacket as a layer, which was a great way to bring even more cohesiveness to the outfit.
