Spring is the perfect time to experiment with color in your pants. I’ve always loved the idea of powder blue pants but never thought I could pull them off. But if I was going to be trying pants, I might as well go all in. I ended up finding a great pair that fit perfectly. Once I knew I could pull off one color, it was time to try another spring color.

When I think of spring, I think of soft pastels. The world is coming back into bloom but hasn’t fully bloomed into vibrant color yet. So if you’re looking for the perfect pair of spring pants, stick with pastels. (Don’t worry, those vibrant colors are great for summer).

Keeping that thought process in mind I was hunting for a pair of sage green or pastel green pants. For some reason this was much easier said than done. There are plenty of green pants out these right not, but not a ton in a pastel or more muted color. I found one pair that was my ideal shade of green for spring pants, but I hated the fit. I ended up buying a pair that were a muted army green with a fun straight leg instead. (Another thing I thought I could never pull off – Straight Leg Pants).
