Styling Guide: What to Wear With Wide Leg Pants for Spring 2024

1. Bright green

If you're looking for a more casual spring outfit idea with wide-leg pants, you can opt to style them with sneakers.

A pair of simple white sneakers work best, they are a timeless choice that adds a laidback touch.

Here, I'm styling a pair of green loose-fitted wide-leg pants with a simple black T-shirt that I’ve half-tucked in.

The bright green gives this outfit a fun, spring look, and the white jacket layered over the top also adds a fresh touch.

A double-layered necklace, a pair of gold studded earrings, and a black bag add the perfect finishing touches.

2. Office pants

You can also rock wide-leg pants at the office this spring. They offer both comfort and style, allowing you to move freely while maintaining a professional look.

Opt for high-quality fabrics like tailored wool, crisp linen, or structured cotton, these fabrics drape beautifully and maintain a polished office look.

3. Mustard yellow

You can go for these tailored wide-leg trousers in a neutral color however, don't shy away from bold colors that will bring a touch of personality, just like these mustard yellow ones, I'm styling here.

I paired the pants with a blazer which adds some structure and also has a subtle print.

On my feet, I have a pair of nude pumps and also went for a tote in a nude shade.

Balancing wide-leg pants with a fitted top works so I’ve styled this blue pair of pants with a sleek black bodysuit.

The bodysuit has sheer sleeves and a sheer back to give it more of that dressier night-time effect. 

To accessorize, I wanted to go for some statement pieces - I chose some silver studs, a sparkly hairband, and a shiny bag.

A pair of black heels and a black jacket as the outerwear piece finish the outfit off.

5. Denim

If you are looking for a more basic look with wide-leg pants, then wide-leg jeans are a fantastic choice for everyday wear.

You can't go wrong with a classic top, wide-leg denim, and simple flats outfit.

I went for denim in a light wash and paired it with an asymmetrical button-down top featuring different-colored stripes on either side.

To accessorize, I added a pair of small pearl earrings and also went for a bucket bag in a baby blue shade that is perfect for spring.
