6 Elegant and Stylish Outfit Ideas for Church

1. Pleated dress

Dresses for Church are always a great idea, and this dress here is stylish but also flattering and very comfortable.

I love that the bottom of the dress starts off straight and then goes into pleats. I am a big fan of pleats because they add a fun and girly touch to any look.

The dress looks nice as it is but I added a black belt with some gold detail to give my waist some definition.

On my feet, I’m wearing some black over-the-knee boots, and for outerwear, I went for a faux-leather cropped jacket.

A tweed bag with pearl trim detail completes the look.

2. Printed jacket

Next, I’m styling a pair of blue structured pants in a powdery baby blue that is a gorgeous color for spring.

I paired the pants with a white sleeveless top and then added a blue blazer over it.

I really like the contrasting shade of blue that the blazer brings to this look, as well as the funky print on it, which you may not notice at first but are actually pictures of eyes.

A structured black bag is the finishing piece.

3. Shirt dress

For this look, I’m styling another dress.

I feel like whenever I throw on a dress, 80% of my outfit is automatically done as I don't have to worry about matching bottoms with a top.

Shirt dresses are very breathable and I love the fact that this one has pockets. This dress could be paired with so many different types of shoes but I went for a pair of brown loafers.

To accessorize, I went with a pair of gold statement earrings and a necklace to elevate the white dress.

A chevron-style bag in the same caramel tone as the loafers completes the look. 

4. Wide-leg pants

The next Church outfit idea features a pair of wide-leg pants in a high-rise style.

I paired the pants with a pink top that has a nice girly bow on the side that acts as the focal point of the outfit.

I also really like the pop of color that this vibrant pink brings to the look.

On my feet, I opted for a pair of pink heels that have a bit of embellishment around the toes.

The final component is a light pink tote.

5. Purple sweater

Here, I'm styling a purple sweater, and the best part of the sweater is the super oversized bow on the right side of it.

The bow makes the entire sweater stand out and I love statement pieces on garments like this because it means that you don’t have to over-accessorize since the statement element does that for you.

I kept the bottoms simple with a pair of jeans and for shoes, I went with some flat white mules.

To accessorize, I’m wearing some dangly pearl earrings that don’t overpower the bow, and I have a nice pearl bucket bag to match.

6. Faux leather dress

For the last Church outfit idea, we have a black faux leather dress.

I styled the dress with a pair of black sock booties that have gold buckle detail to them which adds an instantly elevated touch.

To accessorize, I went for some gold dangly earrings as well as a dainty gold necklace. A simple black bag completes the look.
