When making our diy bath and beauty products, we like to use Rocky Mountain Oils, because they have such a great selection of single oils as well as essential oil blends. We also love this mica powder for any of our projects that require color, and this sweet almond oil anytime a carrier oil is called for in a recipe.

What is a sugar scrub good for?

Sugar scrubs are wonderful for exfoliating your skin, and are gentler than salt scrubs. Sugar scrubs are used as a pain free way to remove the dead skin cells on your body. I especially like to use sugar scrubs on those rough areas like the bottom of my feet.

Do you use soap after body scrub?

No, you do not have to use soap after giving yourself a sugar scrub treatment. The scrub will cleanse your skin, so you can just rinse off and gently pat your skin dry with a towel. A gentle pat down ensures that you won’t irritate your skin further, as it may be a bit sensitive after the sugar scrub treatment.

How long do you leave sugar scrub on?

3 to 4 minutes is a good time to leave the sugar scrub on for. When applying , massage gently into your skin, and watch as it sort of tightens onto your skin.
