All You Need is a Silk Scarf and Gold Chain for This Beautiful Look
Hey guys! I am so excited to show you this DIY scarf top.
There’s nothing like a gorgeous colorful silk scarf, but you have to be careful how you style it or you risk looking matronly.
Wearing a scarf as a shirt is so fresh, young and modern. You’re going to love this look.
Tools and materials:
- Scarf
- Necklace
1. Prep and pull
You’ll need a necklace and a big scarf to create this look.
I am wearing a chunky chain necklace right up against the neck, like a choker.
Take your scarf and fold it lengthwise in half so It’s a long rectangle.
Then pull it through the necklace with the center at the necklace and the sides of the scarf hanging down evenly on both sides.
2. Tie
Straighten out the scarf and find the two inner corners.
Tie them together and pull till the tie reaches your stomach and then double knot it.
Now take the outer corners of the scarf and pull them around your waist to your back.
Tie a double knot nice and snug against your back.
3. Adjust and enjoy
Make any necessary adjustments so the scarf is sitting nicely, and you’re done!
