So lets be honest, money is tight for many of us, but I've got a great new tutorial for you I'm going to share a my brilliant new top which takes less than 1.5m and what's even better is the pattern is free! Stick around and I'll share all the making details with you I'm also going to share styling tips for wearing it two ways!!

The fabric I chose was this super soft cotton jersey from Felicity fabrics, which you can find here> Cotton jersey – wavy stripe – Felicity Fabrics

The pattern you can grab here > Mandy Boat Tee Pattern – Tessuti Fabrics - Online Fabric Store (tessuti-shop.com)

The first step is to turn the neck under and stitch down, before stitching the front and back together at the shoulder seams.

I like to use wonder clips instead of pins when sewing with an overlocker, I once got a pin stuck in the blade section and learned my lesson!!

The next step is to stitch the sleeves on, by laying the sleeve right side together over the armscye. We're almost done now!

After stitching from the cuff, down past the sleeve seam to the waist there's only the cuffs and the bottom to hem and we're all done, how easy is that??

How fabulous is this? Here I'm wearing it ready for a day at work, its so perfect with a pair of smart trousers.

Or alternatively also perfect for chilling on a day off in just a pair of joggers, warm and comfy!!
