How to Style a Chunky White Knit Sweater for Winter
In this lookbook, I’m going to show you how to style a chunky white knit sweater for winter.
Let me show you the outfit that I would create with this sweater.
First up, pair the sweater with a pair of faux leather leggings.
The black and white create a really nice high contrast, and we also have a nice juxtaposition between the loose fit of the sweater and the tight fit of the leggings.
Next, tuck the sweater in to define your waist and make you look more in proportion.
I like to tie my hair back so that it's out of the way, while keeping a few strands down at the front to frame my face.
For outerwear, go in with a large plaid jacket.
We’re going for a neutral palette in this look - the light browns and beiges tie in really well with the cream sweater, while the dark brown lines in the pattern work well with the black leggings.
For shoes, I’m wearing a pair of pointed-toe leather boots in a gorgeous cream color that have a fabric design at the top.
Pointed-toe shoes always elongate the figure.
How to style a chunky white knit sweater for winter
A small black leather bag finishes off the look. I love this outfit - I think it’s really stylish how all the pieces are a solid color, and the plaid jacket adds just the perfect amount of print to keep things interesting.
