Hello everyone

Do you have a soap dish looking manky like below!

This ain't a cleaning hack!

Far from it, it's a hack how to make your favorite soap last longer and not be soggy on one side!

I hate when my soap bar gets awful and slimey, sometimes I end up tossing what would've been a perfectly good bar of soap.

My soap dish below it always gets genky, manky.

(forgive my pun)

It has wasted so much lovely soap. But with just one magic ingredient everything will be fixed!

This shows the end results of using my magic ingredient 😀

The dirty manky soap dish.

I start by soaking it in the sink for 10 mins in hot water

Soap debris will always just stick to the dish making it look manky.

I use a kitchen scrub to give a slight rub over removing all dirt

Clean the top and bottom of the dish then rinse it off

Rinse the dish very well. Now time for my magic ingredient...

JOHNSONS BABY OIL 😁

A couple of drops will save your soap from becoming soggy and no more dirty soap dish.

How? Here's how...

Pour a small amount (5 drops) on the clean soap dish

Using a clean dry cloth rub it all over the top and edges

Like below

MAGIC!!!

This will leave a barrier on the dish.

Best of all, no more soggy soap.

Or manky soap stains on the dish we use daily.

All clean with my favourite soap lying on a bed of oil,

Not gunk.

This is a great hack/trick to save your favorite soaps from becoming soggy on one side.

Some people don't use there full block of soap

I tried this last week and I'm pleased to say I have no soap residue on my dish and no soggy soap.

This really works!!

Try this the next time you clean your soap dish, your soap will feel much fuller and NOT soggy or slimy.

Making your soap dish like this adds a barrier which will help stay more fresher and let soap last longer!

Soap dishes will still need cleaned of course, just repeat using a few dabs of baby oil.

Yes. However, I always unwrap my soap as soon as I get it home. This makes the

soap less soft helping it last longer.

I don't like bars of soap, never used it as it dries my skin, I do however use liquid soap for my hands. But my husband does use bar soap & I find that the soap dish gets very manky so thankyou for this I shall try this when I clean my bathroom in the morning.

Also Emmawiiams1 thanks for the tip of putting odd pieces of soap in a dispenser with water I'll also try this.

    • Hope it worked well for you.

I also dont use soap on my face :)

It's just beside the sink for hands👍

Once again hope it worked good enough for you? Thank you
